Wedding Weekend Remembrance

Hello Everyone!
As I stated in my last blog, this weekend will mark being married to my wonderful husband, on July 31 to be exact! If only I could go back in time and start my blog then, then I would have loved to share and write down every emotion and events taking place last year at this time. Getting married was the most exciting and emotional time in my life. Finally marrying the man of my dreams was thrilling! However, with getting married was the realization that I will no longer be living with parents in New Mexico, that part was very emotional. Then of course, there was the excitement and stress of making sure the wedding was perfect lol. A year later and I cannot believe how time has passed. That was truly the best weekend of my life! I will be sharing more memories and pictures as the weekend progresses.

Special Music Monday

It is Monday again folks, it’s crazy how fast time flies! This time last year was the most exciting time in my life. It was my wedding week :) The emotions and events leading up to July 31 were unforgettable! This week on the blog is defiantly going to be wedding week, as I take a journey down memory lane, in celebration of the best day of my life. The choice of song today and next week will be two of the songs that I played at my wedding. The song I will be playing today is the song that my husband and I had played while we were taking communion and performing the sand ceremony. We had the song performed by a couple of friends that played it acoustic and sang it for us it was beautiful!



I am sorry it is the same artist from last week but I told you I enjoyed him lol. Hope you enjoy this song as much as I do!

Weekend with the Husband

I know two posts in one day :) but I wanted to share the wonderful weekend I had with the husband. My husband and I have been married 11 months and 2 weeks! He is truly my prince charming and you will probably hear a lot about him :) One of our favorite things to do when we are not busy is to go eat Sushi, yes sushi! It is amazing!! So I captured a few pictures to express our love of sushi.

After we ate sushi we went to go explore the World Market in Dallas and we always find something crazy and fun.

I know he is handsome :)

I am serious, I love fortune cookies, not for the fortune but because they are so good! I seriously have bought this container of fortune cookies before and ate every single one.

I thoroughly enjoy date nights with my husband. Life can get busy and we can't go out and about like we use to when we were in college. But even when life gets busy we try to take a moment and just enjoy life and sushi :)

Music Mondays

Hello Everyone, Happy Monday

I will admit I was not quite ready for today but either way it is a good day :) I had a wonderful weekend and will post pictures soon! The song I choose today is how I have been feeling lately with the matter of truth. Knowing truth, believing truth and sharing truth. Sorry, I know deep for a Monday. Have you ever felt you know the truth to situations and you want to share that information but it won't be accepted or you did try and it was not received. It’s an art, knowing when to speak and when just to pray.


I really enjoy this artist and the lyrics he uses. You will probably hear more songs from him on music mondays. Hope you enjoy!

Music Mondays

I cannot have a blog without Music Mondays :) Music is a big part of my life. I grew up in a very musical family, everyone knows how to sing or play an instrument. The ironic thing is that the only musical aspect about me is my name :) (Hence the title of my blog).  Music is a very influential and spiritual thing; it moves and stirs emotions inside of you. I feel that with any adventure or situation in life that comes, there is a song for it :) The song I chose for today is a very thought provoking song. I picked this song because I saw it in action over the weekend. I was able to be with some amazing women that were definitely running forward :) They choose to run forward regardless of the difficulties in life. It's God who makes them strong.
